Room To Work, For Once
After a run of shore jobs where the machine has a few feet of clearance and a neighbor's siding on either side, Barnegat is a relief. Lots here are generally larger, setbacks are real, and there is usually somewhere to put a container that is not the middle of the street.
That changes the economics more than people expect. Equipment stages on site, debris gets handled once instead of twice, and a teardown that would be a careful multi day operation on a barrier island often runs considerably simpler here.
Outbuildings, Pools, And Concrete
Because the properties are bigger, a lot of Barnegat work is not the house at all. Detached garages, sheds, barns, in ground pools, and long stretches of old driveway and patio concrete come up constantly, often on properties where the owner is staying put and clearing space rather than rebuilding.
Those jobs are worth doing properly. An in ground pool that gets partially filled instead of demolished and backfilled correctly becomes somebody's problem at resale, and old concrete left buried on a lot is the same story.
Newer Developments, Different Work
Barnegat has grown considerably, and the newer developments produce a different mix: interior demolition ahead of renovations, deck and fence removal, and cleanouts rather than full teardowns.
Smaller work still gets the same treatment. One crew, debris hauled, and a site that is clean when we leave, whether the job took a day or a week.
