Two Towns In One Township
Stafford Township is really two working environments. There is the residential side, running from the older neighborhoods near the bay out to the newer developments inland, and there is the Route 72 corridor, which is commercial frontage serving everyone heading for the island.
Those produce different jobs. The residential side brings teardowns, garage and shed removals, pool demolition, and cleanouts on lots with real setbacks and drivable access. The corridor brings tenant strip outs, small commercial takedowns, and lot clearing, usually with a lease date attached and less patience for a schedule that slips.
The Bay Side Is Different Ground
The neighborhoods toward the bay, including the lagoon communities, do not behave like the inland developments. Lots are narrower, water sits closer to the surface, and a meaningful share of the housing stock is being replaced or raised rather than repaired.
That matters at the end of a teardown rather than the start. Slab and footing removal on a lagoon lot is routine, but it is worth knowing what the ground is doing before the quote instead of finding out with the machine already on site.
Close Enough To Be Flexible
Manahawkin is about fifteen minutes from our yard, which changes what is worth doing. Small jobs get scheduled without a travel premium, estimates happen quickly, and storm work does not wait on us finishing something an hour away.
We are also through here constantly on the way to island work, so fitting a Stafford job into an existing run is usually straightforward.
