Mystic Island And The Lagoons
Mystic Island is Little Egg Harbor's lagoon community, laid out along canals off the bay. It took a hard hit in Hurricane Sandy, and in the years since, a lot of owners have been deciding whether to raise their house or replace it.
When replacing wins, the teardown has to set up the rebuild: the old house down, the foundation out, and the lot graded so the builder can start. On a lagoon lot that means protecting the bulkhead, working from the street side, and planning the foundation removal around high groundwater.
Inland Lots, More Room
Away from the water, the township opens up. Lots inland toward the pines are larger and often wooded, and the work shifts toward garage and outbuilding removals, pool demolition, concrete, and clearing for new construction.
Room to stage changes the job. Equipment and containers can sit on site, and material gets handled once. If the lot needs clearing or grading before a build, that is part of our site work.
Right Next Door
Our yard is in neighboring Tuckerton, so Little Egg Harbor is about as local as a job gets. Estimates are quick, smaller work is practical to schedule, and storm cleanup does not have to wait on a long drive.
