The Quiet End Of The Island
Barnegat Light sits at the northern tip, and it has a different character than the rest of Long Beach Island: a working commercial fishing fleet, a year round community, and a slower pace than the towns to the south.
Lots here are generally a little more forgiving than the island's tightest stretches, which makes teardowns, garage removals, and concrete work more straightforward. The constraint that does not change is the drive, since everything still comes up the length of the island to get here.
The Long Run Up The Island
Barnegat Light is the furthest point from our yard on the island, and every load leaving the site travels the full length of the boulevard to get off it. That is not a reason to charge more, but it is a reason to plan hauling properly.
Containers get staged so the crew is never waiting on one, and the work is sequenced so the machine keeps moving. On a job this far out, idle time is the only real risk to the schedule.
